Big Lake Church of God

Dr. Doug Talley presently serves as Executive State Pastor of Indiana Ministries of the Church of God. His responsibilities include providing overall vision for Indiana Ministries, overseeing churches, and serving as a church consultant and a coach for pastors.

Before joining the Indiana Ministries staff, he served as a church consultant and coach to pastors in Florida. Prior to that served for 25 years as senior pastor of Westlake Community Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. During his tenure as lead pastor, the church significantly changed its philosophy of ministry, relocated, completed three building phases, and had eight consecutive capital campaigns. The church also grew in size and health.

Doug graduated from Anderson University and Anderson School of Theology. He received his doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

He is married to Cindy, and they live in the Indianapolis area. They have two sons. Their oldest is married, has a seven-year-old daughter, lives in Burbank, California, and is an actor. The youngest is married, has a daughter born in September 2009, and is the student ministries pastor at Church at the Crossing in Indianapolis.
